GeorgeC; right on... snared some UPR this am - a gift $13 7/16ths...

yes; financials are my other area. The small cap S&L's were at historic multiples crying for buying; WAMU etc were simply just too cheap - given even a .50 basis pt rate hike.

Have to leave in an hour; but what a going away gift - OSX popping... and mark my words; we turn on a dime & run back to prior resistance of OSX 85ish - the Institutional buyers will flock by Nov. 9th at the latest, ... would expect OSX 85ish before early Dec. and probably by 3rd week in Nov.- maybe sooner (VBG) ~

PS: MHR - no smoke & mirrors; this deserves a look - and will be a huge 2,3 year story going forward - talk to industry insiders about there holdings; one caveat - high debt - read LEVERAGE the double edged sword; but - if commodity prices stay above $2.25 mcf gas & $18 crude - this is among the home run stories over the next 18 mos...

biz.yahoo.com

Holding only a bit of MHR - trimmed small caps here; actually I am margining on the mid-larger caps here - UPR OEI PXD. SII is still a gift - FLC lagging a bit here - only driller that really still looks "REAL" cheap imho is FLC; can't have $20 crude & $2.75+ Gas for 2 more consecutive qtrs without $20 FLC imho...

Run Forrest Run....

PS: How about a 3 M boe drawdown next week ???
