I recall from last November that NVDA announced it would be making shelf offerings in the future. When I heard about the Wachovia conference, I was putting two and two together. Maybe I'm getting five.

Nevertheless, if they are not going to make a convertible offering at that time, that begs the question what ARE they going to talk about at the conference? It would seem odd that they would talk about their latest products there, but maybe I'm way off base here, so I appreciate your note.

In any event, as long as the market isn't charging like a rabid bull at 10:30 Friday it probably won't hurt me too much to be short a few shares for 15-30 minutes to see what happens, kind of like shorting before an earnings announcement.
