Browser versus Non-browsers---->

I got this from the A.B. WATELY web site abwatley.com

Why do I need a WWW browser for WatleyTrader but not for UltimateTrader? And what's the difference anyway?

WatleyTrader services are WWW based services. In order to view our system the way we intended, you need a WWW browser, like Netscape.

UltimateTrader services are not part of the WWW. You are connected directly to our servers via your local service provider or through our Virtual Network to maximize speed and to avoid Internet congestion.

The difference in these systems is fundamental. The WWW supports only what is technically called "query based" systems. In other words, you load up a question, or questions, and ask. You will get live data for answers but, you need to continue to ask it for those answers.

UltimateTrader is in a "streaming data" format. It is dynamic and continuously updated automatically without your having to ask it to do so.

WatleyTrader is like a shotgun that has to be loaded for each use or multiple uses. Some of the WatleyTrader d ata screens search for and present hundreds of bits of data LIVE! UltimateTrader is like a water cannon with a limitless supply of water. Once you turn it on it flows dynamically all by itself and only you can turn it off.
