Brian Leeners has resigned as president, chief executive officer and director. The board of directors has formed the office of the chief executive to oversee the day-to-day running of the company's operations.
Randall H. McCallum, chairman and founder, and David Dicaire, general manager and chief operating officer, will constitute the office of the chief executive. Mr. McCallum has agreed to come back on an interim basis as CEO to focus his efforts on sales and marketing of Totally Hip's award winning software products. Mr. Dicaire will oversee all other daily operations of the company pending the selection of a new chief executive officer and president. Mr. Leeners joined the company in February, 1997,
and oversaw day to day operations, marketing and sales as president from April, 1998, and CEO and president from January, 1999. Mr. Leeners submitted his resignation for family reasons. He believes his decision is in the best interests of the company and remains a loyal and committed shareholder.
"During the past year, Totally Hip's award winning LiveStage and WebPainter products have become popular rich media development tools with Web and multimedia designers. While sales have increased since their introduction, they have not attained the levels expected. What the company needs right now is a technological and experienced leader to re-energize and build our sales and marketing efforts to the same calibre as our product development," says Mr. Leeners, former president and CEO. "I have asked Randall H. McCallum, the company founder and visionary, to assume the full-time role as CEO to focus his efforts on this task. With his 14 years of industry experience and contacts, the changes in marketing and sales can be made, and I have a vested interest in seeing him take this role. He said he will advise the board of his decision within one week."

In the interim, we will continue this positive transition and move the company forward," says Mr. Dicaire, general manager and COO.

"Brian is very bright and dedicated himself to help grow this company into a leader in Web design tools on a limited amount of capital. The team is committed to the challenge of focusing our efforts and increasing product sales. I will be meeting with the board of directors and management team over the next week to make a decision that is in the best interests of the company's customers, shareholders and employees."
