Commentary:

Getting excited about Shells once again as some are returning to good value plays.
Shells can be very good investements, but one must be careful to evaluate the
financials of each shell. There have been some horror story experiences over the past
6 months which have even included one of stocks here (ENEI). Bottom line, Shells are
the great equalizer of the stock market, no one stock has any more innate value than
another. They offer a private company a chance to go public. Thats it! So a shell with
a market value of $10,000,000 is really no more valuable than a shell with a market value
of $1,000,000! Small investors never really know which shell is going to pop and how
valuable the property to be merged with is worth. What we can do is reduce our risk by
buying small pieces of the cheapest shells and waiting. You are far less likely to be hit
with a 1:100 or 1:1000 reverse split if you invest carefully. That being said, here are some
of the methods used to compute the rankings.

1) Primary, compute Market Cap of the stock minus the stockholders equity. The
smaller the number, the cheaper. Need to consider other classes of stock (Preferred)
in these calculations. Market cap has range due to bid/ask spread.

2) Consider listed stocks only with known financials. If you ask me Pink still stinks.
Over and over you see posts glowing about stocks and when the financials
finally come out they are less than impressive. We have little to go on, actuals
filings are one of them

3) Do factor in short term effects after the rankings, for instance, AMDI, MMDI and
CHIP all have RM's or RS's about to happen. Prices can be very volatile leaving an
opportunity to make or lose money shortterm. AMDI may run over the next week but
from a financial standpoint, it is WAY overpriced already. Dont be surprised by a 1:50
1:100 RS before the merge is announced.

4) Once an RM occurs , eg (NAIR-NARI), I typically stop tracking the stock as a
shell. However, often these ex-shells are worth looking at as they can be quite volatile
in price and may offer an investing opportunity.

5) Personally, I try to accumulate shells when their Cap-Equity is under 1,500,000 and
preferably lower. I will flip some when the price rises and re-buy to add even more
on dips. If the price rises to high (for me around 3,000,000) I will sell out and wait for
the dip to buy more. Once an RM looks imminent, I will hold some for the big one if
the financials still make sense or the entity that is being merged with looks juicy!

No responsibility taken for the accuracy of the calculations below. They
may contain errors though none on purpose. If you see any large errors, post
a message and I will try to fix it.
