Harry: The wording of the reports were almost exactly the same. Yours was posted after the one by Aitch and his was fuller - do we assume that his is the amended report and the 3/4 cents figuring in your report is no longer operative?

I wonder how much of the confusion in the market place arises from the fact that some analysts - such as Kumar - rely more heavily on information derived from the indirect channel than from the company. Many VARS and other players in the indirect channel have tried to make the case that CPQ will suffer if it shifts from indirect to direct. They may be right - Kumar evidently thinks so, and so, to an extent does Neff - but we should be prudent. The indirect channel has a vested interest which might colour its argument.
