From the Yahoo thread -- nothing new, but nice to hear again on a day like today:

E-mail from Pete today...

My institution owns a significant amount of Checkfree stock, and therefore I thought I would share his E-mail to me today...it contains no forward looking statements and only clarifies their strategy in the very near future...

David,
It isn't appropriate for me representing a public company to engage in an ongoing dialogue regarding our strategy, so I hope you'll appreciate that I cannot answer most of your questions. I will restate that we intend to be very aggressive in Internet distribution. We'll be in market this summer with an
initial launch, and you should expect to see significant expansion after that.

As electronic billing and payment--and banking--expand on the 'net, our intention is to extend distribution so that virtually everyone active on the 'net will be offered a place to receive and pay bills, and manage their finances. The increase consumer exposure of our technology is certainly going to provide an opportunity for more aggressive PR. The ubiquitous distribution
on the 'net is the key, and the start of that is this summer.
