That makes sense, all except Weltanschauung I love to learn new words so I looked it up and found that World View is the same idea. Babelfish choked on German to English, but that is indeed the derivation.

I definitely agree that individuals create the world around them, and I favor freedom, less governance, and less "managing." I believe that government should confine itself to doing those functions that we cannot easily do for ourselves, such as national defense.

My belief about the flower children is that they grew up to be liberals, not conservatives or libertarians. I think they are responsible for many of the ills of today's society, and the so-called solutions they created for the problems that they created.

I believe in wearing seatbelts, but paying for highway signs advertising big fines for not wearing them is way outside my Weltanschauung.
