Very true. However, if I were to use inflation adjusted dollars, then it would look a lot worse for the GOP, because the debt they racked up was in the past with dollars that were worth far more than today's dollars. So Obama's debt would shrink in comparison.

My purpose is not to excuse Obama's spending. So I didn't bother with inflation adjustment.
