Buying a house for 15% less than the asking price is not uncommon. We purchased ours some years ago for 17% under the asking price - and it wasn't a sweetheart deal. We didn't want to pay the asking price and the seller decided that our price was the best he was going to get in the immediate future and accepted our offer. Is that a crime?

You really need more that that to accuse someone of getting a politically motivated sweetheart deal. What did Obama do in return?
