Huh? Isn't that a bit of overstatement? What age of children, and what choices weren't they given?

I also think we need to be careful before we make too many assumptions that we know how the BDs lived their life and what you mean by saying they are a cult? (By traditional religious definitions, the Quakers, of which I am one, are a cult.) We don't want to get into the sloppy habit of using the term "cultist" in the same way that the 1950s used the term "commie."
