Bishop says hold onto Trillion for 1999

Trillion Resources Ltd TLQ
Shares issued 22,364,500 Jan 11 close $0.23
Mon 11 Jan 99 In the News
Bob Bishop, writing in the December 15, 1998 edition of his Gold Mining
Stock Report, says nearly forgotten Trillion Resources is a hold at 28
cents. Mr. Bishop recommended the stock in January 1994 at $3.90 and in
April 1994 at $4.85, and he wrote about Trillion six more times to December
1995 but has been quiet on the company since then. In the current report,
Mr. Bishop says the August announcement of a merger with Oliver Gold is
probably dead, although he envisions "some kind of asset swap" between the
companies. Mr. Bishop blames Trillion's financial problems on cost overruns
at its Ndarama mine; these prompted the merger discussions and triggered a
"massive" decline in Trillion's price, he says. The letter writer concludes
that unless subscribers desperately need a tax-loss for 1998, hold on for
1999.
