Cosix Leads Chinese Users to 64 Digits Times

CHINA, March 17, AsiaPort -- After changing the name of Digital Unix into Tru64 Unix, the
American Compaq Computer Company decided to offer scale of Tru64 Unix to China Software
Company and relative technological support and marketing support for Chinese Language 64 digit
Unix. While the latter, based on True 64 Unix technology of Compaq, will develop and strengthen
the support capacity of the system over various application like Chinese language and Internet, thus
pushing the 64 digit Unix operating system COSIX64 which is suitable to the Chinese market.
According to president of China Software Company, COSIX64 will operate on Alpha platform at
first and then will also be used in the future IA-64 platform. |
