on a separate note,
amongst my plethora of macs, i own a ppc7200/90. ran clockwatcher and apple system profiler on it last week; turns out my 7200/90 runs at 75mHz. called apple; after holding/being shunted about for 2 hours, was told 'uh, we'll get back to ya on that.' that was friday.

anyone else run into this? and if so, how do you think apple should make good? (it seems i also own WAY too much apple stock--problems with the hardware are incidental in comparison!) is this an isolated incident?

thanks in advance for any good ideas. --the disgruntled (gruntle me!)
