I just don't think I'd see the value in living in a building a half mile high.

Frankly, from an urban planning perspective, I think its a joke and typical of people who have too much money when there are not enough municipal controls in place to keep such excess from happening. Having said that, from an architectural perspective, I think its as good a design as possible given its size. And it sure ain't going anywhere any time soon.
