$600 box, Intel Inside: Global DirectMail Unit Unveils PC Priced At $599 FLETCHER, Ohio (Dow Jones)--MidWest Micro Corp., a unit of Global DirectMail Corp. (GML), unveiled the Basics NJ-200X personal computer, which is priced at $599. In a press release Tuesday, the company said the NJ-200X Workstation PC is based on Intel Corp.'s (INTC) 200-megahertz Pentium processor with MMX technology and includes Microsoft Corp.'s (MSFT) Windows 95. Global DirectMail is a direct marketer of brand name and private-label computer and industrial products.
