Ibexx,
OK, that's it, as of tomorrow, I will have only one computer in my office at work. All files and mail have been transferred over the net from my old 486 to the new PII. All bookmarks have been transferred from my Sun workstation to the new computer. I used the Sun for Internet browsing because it had a big monitor. Now, I can get rid of two at once! Turns out I have a customer for the 486...a couple of engineers who share an office and have no PC. Before you feel too sorry for them, they work mostly on database stuff that runs on the mainframe. Problem is they couldn't do attachments to email with their Sun Workstations they use as front ends. So, they are grateful for the 486.
The Sun workstation will go to scrap parts...maybe the monitor can be reused. So, just based on this small experience, that is, however, being repeated everywhere, which stock would you buy, Sun or Intel. DUH.
Ibexx, I know I'm preaching to the choir in your case.
Regards,
