I've said before China can proceed unfettered by the vagueries of 'democray' for now but I think Taikun has it right... that wealth will proceed democracy... the political system will change / evolve ... the people will demand it... eventually... I'd bet also that the US becomes less important as time goes by (sooner than later)... I believe it is not the most important trading partner already... So I probably agree with you too ;o) Kastel
