Chi-X,

How about AOL and now IOM listing on the NYSE to hide from short sellers? Not to mention the numerous companies who list on the Amex because they don't qualify for the New York. In the end, it doesn't matter where you're listed, or if shares are available to short, or if you're short position is getting called away, if your fundamenatals warrant it, your stock will appreciate, and if not, it will depreciate.

Sign of an impending apocalypse for longs on a highly shorted position: whenever the discussion heads away from fundamentals and on the availability or lack thereof of shares available to short.

Sign of an impending apocalypse for shorts: when the discussion goes away from fundamentals and on how much room a stock has to go down.

Does anyone see any similarities between the two?

Drew
