I called Newmont Investor Relations today on this subject. She said there were no pending suits she knew
of and absolutely not from shareholders. There is a suit in progress in South America (Peru) where Newmont has minimal exposure. I have a hard time taking a downgrade by ANY Wall Street firm seriously anymore as I consider them all dishonest self-serving parasites, sharks, hucksters, Rubin-Greensputin allies etc.
