I specified one kind of American that it should bother a lot ... those who do not own a home but are paying for the mortgages of those who do. There are lots of people working their butts off, surviving on a shoe string, living in cramped apartment conditions and paying for their neighbors, who probably look down on them for living in low socio-economic conditions.

There are other kinds of Americans, like you, who should also be bothered by it.
