i bought 1,000 shares of AMZN at 136 and sold before the fed cut at 141 1/2 for a $5,500 profit in about 20 minutes......BUT then the rate cut hits and amzn took off......so i could have sold for 154 for 18,000 profit on the day...... I guess you should have put in a stop-loss ;-) (Easier said than done though!) --Olu E.
