I could not find an obituary for Jim. You wonder to what extent someone's family is aware their loved one used an alias on one or more message boards, and whether it is appropriate to alert them of any related tributes. Some choose anonymity to be able to say things they didn't want to be associated with them "for real", while others just don't want to risk being harassed by strangers for things they are not afraid to take full ownership. JimisJim freely talked about his family, his life, his passions, often in detail. You couldn't help but admire that he was secure in who he was, and therefore you knew the "real" Jim. It that context I felt it appropriate to link JimisJim to the "real" Jim to let his family know he will really be missed.
