Trading still pretty orderly on block trades in the low 17s which is lasting a little longer than I guessed it would. IMHO anytime the stock goes below 17 it's a buying opportunity. It happened today but didn't stay long below that level. Lowest block trade I saw was 25,000 @ 17 1/8. MMs ran it up near the close and then with about 10 minutes left, lowered the bid from 5/8 to 3/8. Didn't catch many fish however. Just a few hundered shares. Compression is building for a move to 20 and there is definite interest in some quarters in seeing the stock go up. Hopefully, its the company taking the stock from whoever is selling it. I am guessing, but supply may dry up by Thanksgiving. My quick reading of the registration statement suggests to me that Morgan Stanley was both an advisor to the issuer and the main force on the buyer's side. Is this a conflict of interest? I don't know but it's hard to serve two masters with different objectives now that the situation has changed. I should add, however, that they did have the same objective when the deal was done IMO. I think the company knows that it has a limited window of opportunity to buy back while these low prices prevail. jp
