In order to do business on the web you need to accept credit cards!
It seems that GNET is setting itself up for a piece of that action while allowing free hosting. This could be another way that they are planning to generate revenue.... Thoughts?

FROM ONE OF THE HYPERMART SET UP PAGES:

Getting paid is an important aspect of ecommerce success. But when you are doing business online, you never see your customers. As a result, most ecommerce transactions are conducted via credit card. To accept plastic money, you need a merchant account, an electronic service that links credit card companies and banks to ensure that your online customers are authorized to make purchases on their card. A merchant account will electronically transfer your customer's funds to your business checking account once the online credit card sale is completed.

To make this process as easy as possible, HyperMart is in the process of developing a partnership with an exclusive merchant provider who will set up low-cost merchant accounts for HyperMart members. All you will need to do is fill out the online application and you will be notified of approval within 2-3 days. Once your account is approved, everything you need to begin accepting credit cards online will be integrated into one secure, turnkey operation.
