That remark was a sarcastic version of what I hear liberals saying here: "And why shouldn't people drop out, since success in America isn't really possible anyway." Is that the message you convey to kids? Is that why you're who you are? Is Pol Pot your hero? ---------------------------------------- " its the failing liberal-run school systems that are perpetuating dropouts." The most highly regarded schools in the country are the Ivy League universities..... Are they conservative Ivy League schools aren't relevant to the issue of high school dropouts. Most Ivy League university students don't come out of public schools I think. Look at Obama - he was educated at the most expensive prep school in HA.
