It's not an uncommon pattern, actually. It just manifests itself in different ways.

By that I mean the strength of the flow. In one it could be up only a few points, down half that, then up again strongly. Another it might move up, down up but without any apparent strength in any of the moves. The two up moves could also be rather strong, with the second stronger than the first.

It's visualizing the pattern itself that lends one the "sense" of it. The amount of the move isn't important....unless of course you have a lot riding on it!

Just (finally) finished the Edwarda thread. Funny, in an odd way; even now I just have nothing to post there. I have a sense that has a lot to do with my Irish upbringing. When I heard of her condition, initially, I just had a bad feeling about it.

As the youngest in the family, I was kept somewhat out of such discussion as a child. Then my father fell ill when I was eleven. By the time he passed on I was in College. Virtually grew up with no one home, as my mother spent every evening sleeping in a chair at the hospital for most of those years, except for the few exceptions when he was able to spend a month or two home.

I suppose I get a bit distant at such times; times of foreboding.

I started to read the Clues thread, but that was getting to be a bit much; so I shall close the book on following any more of it.

Well, anyway. I still am not up to speed quite enough to trade. Still too much to get done, including finishing my database. I would be able to tell you about how often that above pattern hits, to lend you a sense of how common it is, but at the moment that data is incomplete.

Nice trading, by the way. Did not mean to get melancholy on you in the middle of the post. Just something that was on my mind; stream of consciousness to be truthful.
