Very true. Republicans love cheap labor that is subsidized by all of us and Democrats enjoy the increase in census population which drives the electoral votes up. If we are going down the path of Universal Healthcare, Single Payer, etc. I would rather they debate it and analyze models now and get it done. The problem is Republicans are adverse to supporting a government run system preferring to keep it privatized while at the same time subsidizing farming and oil etc. They can't decide when they are for government influence or against it.
