Vajpayee's reelection and prime Ministership are a foregone conclusion
Kargil conflict has practically guaranteed & installed Vajpayee as the next Prime minister, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Thanks, but no thanks to Pakistan. Everything else is a mere waste of time, money, & effort. The elections most likely will bring a majority status to BJP.

It appears that Congress wants to take advantage of Sonia for her family name and Mrs. Haneefuddin for her bereavement. It is a shame to take advantage of a bereaved mother, either in thought or deed.
Jayalalitha, has engineered this reelection to stay and wriggle - the weight of evidence precludes it- out of her legal problems. I feel sorry for these three women. But the only one who is above reproach is Mrs.Haneefuddin.
