BOPH: Like Charlie Brown with Lucy and the football: I just cannot resist. I go for a few shares: a micro-cap, low volume (roach motel?) "cheap" Chinese stock. On the metrics I like (p/e, p/stated
bv, roe, profit margin, rev growth, d/e), if there's a cheaper stock, I can't name it.
Company prospects, honesty/capability of management, veracity of their reporting, company relationship with Chinese government --- all dangerous aspects or unknown factors - but possibly extremely relevant.
As is usual for me, I offset portfolio risk with position size --- so only a small bet for me on this one.
