I suppose if you were living in the mid-nineteenth century, you would have thought the outlawing of slavery in the Southern United States was an extreme position as well?

How about Apartheid, was it an extreme position to end that policy in South Africa?

How about consistent and concise?

As far as the American's position, they are woefully duped by a controlled media.
