Just one flaw in your thinking. Although ASND may slide if LU doesn't product an offer, ASND is far more broadly positioned than CIEN. CIEN also was hit, not so much by the retraction, but by the loss of business from T. I do however suspect that there is $5-$10 of speculation in ASND..I nice little profit for the short, but remember you have earnings in the way too. You're a brave sole... OG
