I would love to trade subsequent stock while holding core positions in them, but I haven't found any good software (even from my accountant) that allows me to understand the wash-sale implications of daily trades in a stock (with losses and gain on each trade) on top of a core position. It's way too complicated. If the IRS could simply all of this, we could make WALL STREET more of a casino than it already is!!!
