Robert, I think it was the MMX. I only got a glimpse of tv. It was a neat coincidence that I saw the tv spot. I was reading messages about Intel. I didn't understand the criticism about the mmx. So I went upstairs to ask my housemate to read the messages and try to explain the problem to me. My housemate interpreted the criticism of MMX as stating that the chip can either do math or graphics but it cannot switch between the two. I asked my housemate to read Paul E's message about MMX. I understand Paul said that it was a SOFTWARE problem. If it is a software problem, then someone should be able to fix it, I guess. Anway, according to my housemate, Paul E said it was NOT a hardware problem. I hope my housemate interpreted this information correctly. A big hit at Comdex are the little Computers, like MSFT's MCE (I think that is what it is called). For Xmas. I am going to get a USRX Pilot.
