This is really a bullish statement in support of AMD.

Intel has long been alienating the other chip makers. Building
support chips for Intel processors may mean that Intel will put
you out of business when they build there own chips.

AMD to date has built support chips for K7 but have turned over the
design data to other chip makers in advance. Clearly developing a community of chip makers.
