The power Hollywood has! The world sees us through that prism. My favorite story on that subject was in "MIG Pilot," the memoir of a Russian who flew a MIG to Japan from Siberia to escape and get the reward offered. He said that as a kid he saw the movie, "Grapes of Wrath," in Russia. He said everyone in the audience was impressed by how wealthy the Joad family was. They owned a truck!
