Did I mention that Martha Coakley has hired Marc Elias, the head recount lawyer for Franken and also worked on Gregoire's recount? Its a smart move. This race isn't going the way everyone predicted. Brown may still win but not by a lot. His strongholds in western and central MA have mostly reported and he's only leading 52/47. Boston returns are just coming in and Cambridge has barely started reporting......both are Coakley strongholds. Plus Coakley was DA for 8 years in Middlesex County, the largest county, population wise, in MA. If she takes Middlesex, she could win.
