I think all that election yesterday proved was that Coakley is an idiot. She thought she had it in the bag, because she was the Kennedy's choice, and acted like a privileged elite, which she was.

For instance:

When she heard that the Red Sox's star pitcher was for her opponent, she said "He must be a Yankee's fan"

When she was asked why she wasn't out shaking hands and kissing babies, she said: "What, you mean go out in the cold and stand outside Fenway Park shaking hands? I don't think so!"

So, basically all it means is the Kennedy family picked a loser candidate from hell. It won't kill health care.
