Is DSL available? The satellite route is up front costs and you share your connection slowing the speed when it gets busy. (unless they have a new way of doing it) You might look at a cellphone data connection in your area. Some areas also have "wireless broadband" available, based upon several different technologies such as Wimax or Motorola Canopy system. texascomm.com ruralinternet.co.uk About what area are you in and I'll dig around some. Any hotels nearby with free Internet? :)
