Today I was watching Spencer Tracy in Inherit the Wind. Always liked his acting and his movies! Anyway, the movie did a great job of showing the mindless bigotry of superstitious people who care nothing for Science or Reason. And I thought about people on this thread who are NO DIFFERENT from those ignorant and uneducated people depicted in the movie--people who would gladly support the removal of Science from the classroom and the return of Genesis. AIEEEEEEEEEE!! One of the great lines, after DARROW tells the story of his golden dancer rocking horse made of spit and paint... "As long as the prerequisite for that shining paradise is ignorance, bigotry, and hate--I say the Hell with it"
