Why are you and Brumar, especially, but the GOP in general, so against technological progress? This country was built on the back of technology as our strength, and yet, you guys are completely against anything that uses technology to solve our biggest problems.
Look. If you don't believe in the future of the smart grid, that's fine. However, before you dismiss it, why don't you try to do a little reading on the subject and figure out why many large, well respected companies like IBM, GE and Cisco, as well as the large utilities are already gearing up in a big way to build this market. Smart business men are already getting into this game. Also, you might want to read up about it at the DoE website. I listed only one of the benefits that can come from it, but there are many economic benefits, national security benefits from a distributed grid and power structure, and environmental benefits.
But then again, I imagine that you think you are smarter than everyone else. You and your whole party is experiencing a serious lack of imagination. |
