It is what it is. It is statistically significant when looking at 130 years of data. Over hundreds of thousands of years, the warming amount is not significant.

What's more important is to look at the rate of change, the direction of the change, and the root causes of the change.

Rate of change:
* we know from ice core data over 800,000 years that this is the fastest rate of change in 800,000 years...and it continues to accelerate

Direction of change:
* it's moving upwards very fast, which means human societies may not be able to adapt quickly enough to avoid very costly impacts, which is why we should care

Root causes:
* there is credible evidence and the scientific consensus says that CO2 is the main cause and that humans are responsible
* the only significant thing about that finding is that, if it is true, then we can do something about it, so that we can avoid the costly impacts from the direction of change
