I understand that you are upset but your comment is iinflamatory and misleading. My read is that they did not cash out any of their portfolio. They were required to report their profits on the difference between what they were carrying their investment in Maverick on their books for, and the market value of Broadcom. This does not mean that they cashed in any of the portfolio.
