Let's try and quantify what "Intel Inside" has been worth.

Here are the EPS for the last four quarters and some
estimates for this quarter (historical data from WSJ).

INTC CYRX AMD
0.98 -0.49 0.52
1.02 0.10 -0.18
1.17 -0.79 -0.26
1.48 -0.36 -0.28 <--- most recent quarter
1.75 to 2.00 -0.3?? -0.1?? to -0.2?? <--- estimates

A quick look at this table helps explain the bitterness
of many AMD and CYRX long term investors. AMD and CYRX
fans are so caught up in their own hype that they have
forgotten that the object of "the game" is to MAKE money
not lose it.

Here's a real eye opener. Intel will make more money
(in terms of EPS) this quarter than CYRX and AMD have
made TOGETHER for the last 6 QUARTERS COMBINED!! Of
course past performance is not a guarantee of future
results ....blhaa... blhaaa... blhaaa <VBG>.
