Washington: Americans seem sour on the state of the union in advance of President George W. Bush's address on the subject. A poll finds most believe the US is on the wrong track - a complete flip from five years ago.

Iraq remains the public's top concern, with 65 per cent disapproving of Bush's handling of the situation.
