No, I'm not an analyst.

I've noticed that there are a large number of overpriced stocks on the market today with great expectations, so I'm very careful where I invest. You could've held on to your AMD stock last year and done OK, but you'd have done better with Intel. I try to invest in companies that are starting a new product cycle and before the stock price rises, which is difficult to do. There are many companies that deserve their low price, and others that won't enter the new cycle for a while.
