Seth: That is real good advice for us all. Franklin is growing and we have to give it time. Although it sounds from Peter's message that things are starting to roll, it is going to take some time for this train to build some steam. Many of us have waited for a long time to see what we are seeing in the growth of this company. I for one am very pleased with the growth in revenue from a year ago but lets not forget that "year ago" revenues were pretty small and percentages can be misleading. We would serve ourselves better if we keep our heads about us so as not to be disappointed from numbers that would otherwise indicate steady, positive growth. To do otherwise will only give the "naysayers" reason to bash. I am satisfied today knowing that Franklin has put to shame those who refused to see the potential growth in this new generation global telecommunications company; messages like this one which I saved just so I could say, "I told you so."

William Harvey, I believe you are wrong about the run-up in FTEL's price prior to the Intrine order announcement not being related to the Intrine announcement itself. Don't stocks often rise before big (& big sounding) news is announced? In valuespec.com, I documented the rise in FTEL's price to the timing of the announcement. The stock climaxed right around the time of the Intrine news. Based on FTEL's history at the time, I questioned the impact and nature of the Intrine order to some scoffing on this thread. As it turned out, I was right in that regard, too. I don't expect this company to ever be profitable, based on its past history. I expect bigger loses this quarter ending December 31, 1998, with lower revenues than the quarter ended September 30, 1998. FTEL: $ .82 VALUESPEC

I'll bet there are a lot of people out there that wished they had bought a truck load at .82; I did because I saw the potential. Unfortunately there were some who sold at .82 for a loss, because they looked only at the share price and believed the lie, instead of looking at the company. Don't get me wrong, FTEL was a very speculative investment in November 98 and prior, but they have come a long way in the last seven months, as you know. Today, I believe that it is safe to say that Franklin is going to be a success, it's just a matter of waiting to see how much of a one. Bill |
