VISION SYSTEMS’SOLAR PROTECTION SOLUTION

Vision Systems’ smart solar protection solution Nuance will be shown at Pilote/Le Voyageur
Stand during the recreational vehicles fair (VDL) , from September 28 to October 6, 2013 at Le
Bourget, Paris, France. Le Voyageur will present a concept of skylight integrating Vision Systems
polarizing solution.
Nuance is a solution that gradually darkens in less than 5 seconds providing protection from the
light, heat and UV. Adaptable to any kind of window or skylight, Nuance is controlled easily by a
simple control button near the window, a control panel on the dashboard, or smartphone or
tablet via Vision Systems’ WiFi box i-Comfort (cabin management, media server and
connectivity).
Nuance solution makes no noise, consumes very little power, does not take space and maintains
the freshness inside the vehicle when it is stopped. In fact, the window is dark when the power is
turned off, allowing to save air conditioning and privacy.
The Nuance system is based on the SPD technology (suspended particle device) integrated within
a window, glass or thermoplastic, flat or curved, regardless of the size or shape. Easy to install,
the solution is suitable for retrofit or new construction.
After one year of experience in the application of this product on motorhomes’ skylights and
strong expertise in solar protection for aerospace, Vision Systems strengthens its presence on
