The spins might help, but the key thing is management have been slimeballs only looking out for themselves. They have bad performance and excessive fees and spinning out something isn't going to change who the management is. If they take a pay cut then yes the spin-off could help, but otherwise it is just financial engineering, no real value creation.

I just showed you how they shafted shareholders back in 2008-2009 with highly dilutive offerings. Who cares that they didn't do in 2013???. That's dumb luck the stock traded above NAV. Sure it was awhile ago, but a leopard doesn't change spots, but you don't seem to care. Fine.

I just showed you ARCC obliterated PSEC by 11% per annum (never countered me on that by the way), but you prefer to hold a core position with the worse management. Don't understand the logic on that one, but fine.

I can tell you are one of those people who makes up his mind and then fits the facts to them.
