maybe, although I've actually found it pretty interesting, since you both make some good points. The basic subject is one that I raised on the Gorilla and King thread last spring, sparking an interesting discussion: isn't there a contradiction in the position of many LTB&H SI types in thinking that we can do successful stock-picking but can't do successful market timing? That is, if we can beat average returns in one way, why not in another?
